Pier is in a really cool location. Plenty of room and very nice bathrooms. It is well maintained and kept clean. Enjoyed every minute fishing there. Even had live music from the neighboring restaurants/bars at times. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and cheered on your catches.

We love this place. We ate at steamers. Wonderful food. Small place inside, no wonder there was a wait. And you must try the key lime cake oh so good 👍. The peir was full of people catching fish. It's Wonderful for a weekend or just the day.

Really unique pier with individual fishing sub piers. Very nice way to feel the breeze from the water and see the coast of Cedar Key. Clean bathrooms too.

Cedar Key is a hidden treasure,. From Bikers to families it has something for everyone. Friendly people, nice bars and restaurants some with live music. Beautiful scenery all around. Trips from kayak, fishing, airplane ride and boat excursions. Would recommend a trip here to anyone.

If you buy hard she'll crabs and tear off the legs, cut them in half and put them on your size 2 hook you will crack 20 plus pound red and black drum every 15 minutes. Throw off the end of the pier into the channel. The rusty hook sells them but they close at 3 so keep that in mind. Jp
The pier is open as are all the restaurants around the pier. Masks are not mandatory but still would have one handy just in case.
Watch out for the toad fish they bite
Go to Cedar key bait shop next to pier and ask for non residents license. Must bring state ID.
Red Tide is not in Cedar Key as of Oct.2,2021
You need one,FL Law
Yes right by the pier
You should be able to because you can fish.
Yes there sure are. And they are nice and usually very clean.
Its not to deep up close to pier at low tide but its pretty deep if you cast about 3 feet out from pier i fish there often great fishing spot
Salt water residents license Or Salt water non residents license
The pier is 24 hours and there is a bait shop right beside the pier and one Is located no more than 5 minutes from the pier
You dont need a fishing license. Bring your own rods and there isnt anyone that can clean your fish for you. I hope that helps
Haven't been able to get there recently but best place for whiting, to end of the dock.right to end of finger, cast frozen shrimp out fifty to seventy feet out at about a 45 degree angle towards the dock on atsena otie key

Dido captain Dan was amazing we caught our limit. He is a lot of fun to hang out with and great at getting you to the fish
Not sure, but I really don't see why not
We have used our casting net and we have seen other's also. I wouldn't really advise it unless you know where the oyster beds are, we have had a few times gotten ours in and it can get shredded. Also if you do try it, try during high tide. Hope this helps.
