After reading reviews on Google, I was hesitant to visit this laundromat as I was leery of the $4 reloadable card to use the machines. I'm old school (quarters) and usually visit the Speedy Wash down the street, but after a futile trip lugging in massive amounts of bedding only to be greeted by numerous inoperable machines, I took the advice of another patron and went down to ELC. ELC staff member Libby was warm and friendly about explaining how to best use the machines and card, even allowing me to reload ELC's onsite card until I decided if I wanted to purchase one of my own. (i.e., "Are you a one-time visitor or will you be there a lot?") I was so impressed with that first visit that I decided to return on Labor Day to wash more bulk bedding. Due to an error with the card-dispensing machine and no onsite staff because of the holiday, I had to call the emergency number listed on the wall. Zach arrived and quickly resolved my issue, with apologies for my wait. This facility is super clean, has an onsite vending machine, bucket chairs as well as two tables with four stools each. I'll never go back to coins again (hello, monetary shortage!) and am sold on this way of the future with cards. Thanks, ELC!

We were camping in the hills and decided to venture into town to do laundry. The place is in a good neighborhood and is immaculately clean. Notice: the sign says "Coin-Op" but that is not the case. All machines require cards that cost $4. Then, you put money on them. However, the attendant on duty asked us if we were from around here, which we aren't. She allowed us to put the necessary money on the card we have. Not our first choice of options but at least we'll have less laundry to do after we get home. We're satisfied.

Love this place, the staff and machines. Just one big problem. The bathroom is locked if there is no attendant on duty! I understand that there might be undesirable usage of left unlocked but no facilities available when laundry can take a long time is inexcusable. How about putting a lock on it that can be opened with the laundry card if you don't want to pay someone for all open hours?
