Hey this place is amazing I only found few pieces of trash and minor vandalism. I actually liked this a little better than bok tower because it was less busy but this is hard to locate. I think you should definitely come here. Perfect place for wedding photos as I saw a couple do the same . It has some shade but not much. It feels like I'm in Italy a little bit which I really loved. I probably will come back. I liked it . Nice place to read to.

Very beautiful and peaceful. We went on a Sunday afternoon, the weather was great, lots of families all around, but it was not crowded. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Lots of grassy areas for relaxation. It is connected to Barnett Family Playground and Splash Pad, but the playful sounds from the park did not deter from the beauty of the gardens.

Love this cute and beautiful little garden! Love that it is free to enter, and plenty of great spots to take pictures! It is so peaceful here. Definitely check it out the next time you're in downtown Lakeland.

Simply beautiful. Quiet peaceful setting just off Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. A perfect place to unwind or take pictures. The plants and flowers are majestic and give off a calming vibe as you walk around. Not huge… but we’ll worth the visit. This place has so many photo opportunities and so much to take in … well worth the trip.

Lake mirror is right next to Hollis Gardens. A picnic basket is a great idea!
Not in the garden directly but just feet away is a quaint little bistro that over looks Lake Mirror and just a short walk away are several pubs and restaurants in the historic downtown area.
I believe there are
Ive seen dogs on a leash walking around the lake but not specifically within the gardens area.
Yes they are
Yes the right hand side has ramps that go up im not sure if you can reach the middle this way but i am pretty sure as i have a stroller with me everywhere i go
Yes
My mother did a few weddings there many years ago. Its a beautiful place for one. Call them to see if they still do it. You wont be disappointed. Its a beautiful venue.
No charge. If you want to give a donation there is a box but you don't have to give a donation.
Yes you can it's now much of a ride but there is space to ride your bike enjoy!
Actually I just took my maternity photos last Thursday and when we called they said they chose at 8pm. But call to make sure for the day you are going.
No, food and beverage aren't allowed. However there is a park next door with tables.
I would think that they can do any size wedding just give them a call
You can take all the pictures you want. The location is just a favorite of a lot of local photographers, so you'll often see them taking clients there for the setting of the gardens and lake.
According to Trip Advisor dogs are NOT allowed.
It's called the Garden Bistro, I think it's 11-3 M-F, closed Sunday and reduced hours Saturday
Contact the City of Lakeland Parks and Rec Dept for information

Around the lake, next to Barnett Family Park.
No membership is required to enter Hollis garden it's open to the public.
On weekdays the park is fairy quiet and peaceful, so it would be a good place then. Weekends however the park gets very busy.
Yes no idea how much but several around there....the magnolia building is one.
There's a parking lot right by the entrance
Wonderfully Free. A good bistro, and be sure to walk around Mirror Lake!
They say it is for security reasons. Its basically a public park.
There's signs around explaining what some of the plants are plus there are usually some employees a nearby if you have a tougher question. They don't do formal tours though.
Depends. If you want the event solely in the garden I think it's not very much, they also have an event building next to the gardens that you could have your reception etc in but idk how much that would be.
I would doubt you can in the actual garden, but the park is near by.
