We used these services for my dad and had a fantastic experience. He was suffering from grief after losing my mom and also had a catheter and other health issues. The helpers from here were absolutely the most compassionate, caring and attentive ladies and gentlemen. They interacted with him daily and helped around the apartment as well. We could not have asked for any better help with him that what was given. We had a company prior to using home helpers that was a very bad experience. This was so helpful to myself as well, i didn't have to worry about his care. I was contacted when needed and they never lost sight of their duties. Even after my dad passed, we received a phone call from his main caregiver and she was so sweet and caring. I recommend their services highly.

Over the past 1+ years our mom was supported by the Home Helpers Care team of North Georgia and I cannot say enough about this wonderful caregiving community. Greg and Hilary are the owners and we began our journey with an initial assessment for mom at her assisted living facility in Suwanee, GA. She was subsequently moved into Memory Care in mid-2020 and we knew we desired additional daily care and companionship for her to keep her living her best life. We were so lucky to have the support and skilled staffing of the three most awesome caregivers, Nelta, Annie, and Lushana. They were individually on shifts with mom providing on-site 12-hour care daily in addition to the nursing staff at the facility. These caregivers were advocates for mom and always went above and beyond to help her in whatever way they could. They were so compassionate and caring and we got to know them just like family. On mom's most recent 95th birthday, they helped bring mom to our home nearby to celebrate with the entire family. They also helped dress, bathe, feed, walk/exercise and assist us with Dr. appointments and just about everything from reading stories to watching movies, etc. They did an outstanding job during COVID and even when mom had it, they came in daily to ensure she was taken care of. On occasion they may have called out absent, but the supervisor and scheduler, Kristin, was there to provide a timely replacement. They were there for all the holidays and we really appreciated that, too! While we were blessed to have family in the area, it was still comforting to know that mom was always taken care of. Our mom passed away in mid-December and I wanted to acknowledge the loving, compassionate care we received from these amazing caregivers and the entire team at Home Helpers- thank you and God bless!

We have a backup plan for every situation! From time to time caregivers may call in sick, have a flat tire on the way to work, or a family emergency that requires them to take the day off. Ask your home care provider what their plan of action is when a caregiver does not show up for their designated shift.
