They were all about getting me to send their info to the VA to be my rep. Once the VA appointed them I haven’t heard a thing from anyone at their office. You can’t call or contact anyone either. Not sure how they’re supposed to be your advocate or representative when the refuse to even give a veteran a chance to communicate with them. This is just another sham veteran “charity” organization like veteran education success who claims they do things, but actually do nothing to actually help veterans. Why does the VA approve places like this? The VA is already terrible enough, and then they approve organizations that are somehow even worse than they are… at least if I wait an 1.5 hours I can talk to some one at the VA. DAV is trash and won’t even communicate. Don’t fall for the ads. They make the process 100 times harder than it already is, not easier. They are not a advocate of veterans.

Awesome place if anyone ever in Utah and looking for a good church family, friendly humble environment, this is it!

It was a combination of meeting and comfort foods meeting that the PRRC held down there instead of at the SLC VA Hospital. It is a group that gets veterans out of their house to do different things. Very nice setting and I enjoy it.

I've filled out their form last year and hadn't heard from them. I contacted them and again I filled out their form and I'm still waiting.

I was told that 80% goes to the veterans and the rest pays for the employees that make things happen. My grandfather ran the DAV in Salt Lake for many years and he made sure they all got what they needed. His pictures are there. Edward Shockey he was a great man
