Had them put in a new furnace and A/C and clean all the vents. Air did not work. they came out and explained the filters have to be changed almost every day after cleaning. Fast forward, now its cold expecting freezing. furnace doesn't work. After explaining the situation they finally agreed to get out the next day. THE NEXT DAY when they are expecting a hard freeze that night after spending $10,000 just a month or so before is unacceptable. You would think they would come out immediately. Trying to call out another company to see what they messed up! Last thing, have to stop the contractors from working you can't mud tape and paint in a freezing home.

Needed a whole new system and It was done the next day. All of the workers were polite and attentive and cleaned up after themselves. They have an amazing crew and I'm glad to have a new, efficient systems. Thanks to Gage, Colton, Brody and Nate for the hard work and to Bryton for getting the service coordinated so fast. Would recommend Royal Plumbing Heating and Air without reservation.

Called to replace two 3/4 water supply valves. Tech they sent out replace one valve then agent into the bathroom and replace two Dinh shut off valves. I didn’t even tell them to replace. The other valve was left untouched. The tech never turned the water back onto the unit and left. Soon I received a bill for 585.00 for less than an hours work and a 3/4 ball valve. When the water got turned back on it leaked even worse than before with a heavy stream. When called they sent the tech Bach to the job and stuffed the bonneted with packing to stop the leak. Again not what I asked for. When asked how much to finish my job a quote of $2200.00was given. I called another plumber and for two 3/4 valves, one 1/1/4 ball valve. A PVR and two hours at 145.00 an hour around $600.00. Never should have called these clowns.

Thank you can u help me find somewhere I can buy a air pressure switch???
While using a pipe cleaner can clear out the clog, it’s important not to use industrial-strength drain cleaners often, as they can damage your pipes. If you’re worried about damaging your pipes, get a professional to take care of the clogged drain for you.
Act now before it becomes completely clogged. You can use a number of drain cleaners or a snake to try to clear the clog, or you can give us a call to help make sure it doesn’t end up being a burst pipe or completely clogged drain!
If you’ve discovered that your pipes are frozen, don’t panic. If the pipes are easily accessible, you can thaw them with a hair dryer, heating electrical tape, or even a space heater. If they aren’t easily accessible, give us a call, and we’ll help you thaw your pipe, and even repair the issue if the pipe bursts!
Yes! There are no other chemicals added to softened water, and the sodium ions added are not toxic. In fact, some people prefer the taste of softened water over hard water.
No. This is a common misconception since sodium is used to replace the calcium and magnesium. Softened water doesn’t taste salty and the sodium added to water is about the same amount found in a single slice of white bread.
A water softener works by removing the hard minerals in your water, usually calcium and magnesium, and replacing them with softer minerals, such as sodium. These minerals are replaced through an ion exchange. Sodium is used because it doesn’t have the same effects on soap and pipes that calcium and magnesium do.
While it depends on where your home is, most of Utah’s water is known for being extremely hard. You may need a water softener if you struggle with hard water stains, your skin and hair feel dry and itchy, or your clothes get dingy and rough after only a few washes. Give us a call today to learn more about how your home could benefit from softer water.
There are a number of reasons your water heater could be leaking, such as a loose drain valve, too much water pressure, or even a cracked storage tank. If you know your water heater is leaking, don’t wait. Give Royal Plumbing, Heating & Air a call and we’ll diagnose the problem and take the steps necessary to fix it.
Tankless water heaters, also called on-demand water heaters, work by heating up the water as it passes through the system. Because there’s no tank, water is heated up only as necessary, saving water and energy. This is different than a traditional system, which heats up a certain volume of water based on the size of the tank and keeps that water heated until it’s all been used.
While a tankless system might have more upfront costs, there are a few advantages to going tankless, as they last longer than traditional systems, create an unlimited amount of hot water, are more energy-efficient, and take up less space. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to walk you through all of our water heater options and help you choose the right system for your home.
Noises are a good indication that your water heater is full of sediment. We recommend flushing out your system. You can do it yourself, or you can give the experience plumbers at Royal Plumbing, Heating & Air a call and we’ll find and fix the problem.
If you’re struggling with allergies, have pets, or in general have a hard time breathing because of low air quality, it may be beneficial to get an air purifier. While the air in your home may not be as bad as outside, especially during an inversion, you may still see benefits to having an air purifier installed in your home.

How often you should replace the filter depends on the type of filter, whether or not you have pets, and how often you use the system. In most cases, you’ll only need to change your filter every 6 to 12 months. If you aren’t sure how to change your air filter, give us a call, and we’ll send one of our techs over to help.
Furnaces can last anywhere between 15 to 30 years. While it may not be time to replace your furnace, there are a few advantages of getting a new system before your old one breaks down.
In order to get the most out of your furnace and AC, we recommend getting each system serviced at least once a year.
