Bought a new pair of Irish Setter work boots, socks, and custom insoles on 9/24/22. On the following Monday, I was putting them on for work for the first time when the bottom hook popped out. After being upset with the amount of money I had just spent on the boots, I took them in later that day which they easily repaired within 10 minutes with what they called an "upgraded hook". After almost two weeks of wearing the boots on Friday 10/7/22 another hook popped out and two were bent. I took them in on Sunday 10/9/22 to be repaired, cleaned, and oiled, which they do free of charge. I was told the original hooks on the boots were "garbage" and they were going to replace all of the hooks with the "upgraded version". But due to the repair guy not being in and the drill bits being dull, I would have to leave them and would have them back Wednesday 10/12/22 at the latest. Before I left I was told I could just "buy another pair of boots to get me by". I decided to leave my boots because I needed them to be fixed. Fast forward to today, 10/12/22, I have not received any communication about them being ready so I decided to go to the store and see if they had an update or hopefully pick up my boots. Instead I was informed that they were sent out and would not be back until Saturday 10/15/22. I was then accused of misusing my boots when the salesman made a rude remark about the hooks after he was the one that told me that the original hooks were "garbage". After all of the disrespect and unprofessionalism I experienced, they still aren't sure if I'll have my boots back by Saturday. Red Wings Boots are supposed to be superior boots but apparently they are made with inferior material. Hopefully I get them back on Saturday and I will not be back to this store.

Red Wing shoes are the best around. The boots last an average of 10 years with hard use.

It's everything I expect from a shoestore. You can bring back malfunctioning shoes YEARS after you've bought them. I find the lowtop steel toed black work shoes to be of high quality. The last shoes I bought from here lasted at least 11 years. I consider Red Wings shoes to be of high quality.
