I unfortunately have several illnesses that require medication. I experienced countless problems with the Lakeway CVS (except for Tanya at the drive thru, she is wonderful) but after several years of frustration, I transferred to HEB pharmacy and they have been excellent. They fill my prescriptions on time, are friendly and competent and actually answer their phone right away. This is the best pharmacy I have used in over 10 years.

Really poor communication. Checked the web site for a flu shot, and it said "walk-ins welcome". Well that is NOT true. I was notified when I arrived that they will not give any immunization until after 12 noon and that was NOT posted anywhere on their on line notices. So get out and come back later is the simple HEB response.

I have had continually problems with this location but today tops it all. I went in last Tuesday to pickup all my medications. Not all was there so reordered my medications that didn't get on Tuesday. So yes had to come in twice to pick up medication already said was ready days before. This has happen 3 separate times now. So something isn't right with process here at this location or HEB Pharmacy in general. Went in today to pickup and was told still not have it, then let me know that was in another area to be restocked. Asked how could be restocked when just ordered 2 days ago from when came to pick up 2 days ago. She said was ordered over a week prior. I explained I came in 2 days ago and had to reorder because wasn't there. When the person helping me Gwen let me know its my responsibility to make sure they fully check every where for my medications very rudely. Then I got upset and didn't realize was my responsibility to know where you stock or run your business but how ever done wasn't being done to make my life easier. And I would take my business else where. I paid and she walked off to not come back and had to call button to get a Pharmacist over to hand me the medication. I let know what had been just told to me and that I wanted to put in a complaint on what her assistants where tell customers. I've always have had a good experience with HEB but they need some help with process at Pharmacy and the way staff treat customers. I will move back to walgreens now because of this situation and Gwen at this location. Absolutely have never had a business tell me its my responsibility that they know where my medications are held. Nor cared when I explained 3rd time this has happen with having to come back for the same medications because all wasn't there when picked up. Again all had to say about it was my responsibility to make sure they look in system and everywhere for medications. Now I know if want to go here what my job is as a customer to make sure they check system and all locations medication kept to get my medications. No Thank you. Bye.

The pharmacist, (I believe her name was Jennifer) explained in detail my medication and was very nice. I don't agree with some of the bad reviews here, I have always had a good experience. I feel bad for the girl at the register, she had to call my insurance a couple times but in the end she helped me get a discount and called me when my prescription was ready.
