I called about a Husky that roamed onto my property. I gave them the tag number and the Husky was a patient of theirs. They were going to notify the owners. Kept other patient info private. Since the Husky, I've taken 2 of my fur babies in for checks. The staff is cordial and so helpful. Dr. Carter takes her time and explains everything. My 2 dog fur babies had their initial check. Some concerns for Nimitz(19) based on urine test results. Just have to go in every few months for UA for now. Dr Carter is genuinely concernd for pets and Parents. NEWS I learned: Dogs start getting arthritis starting at 4-5yrs of age. Pet vitamins with supplements, and proper food will help babies live a lot longer. Has helped mine. My oldest fur baby(19)Nimitz in for Dental. 7 teeth pulled.. Cost 1/2 what I thought it was going to be. It Included sonogram of his organs. Put me at ease. Now, I'm learning a lot about tarter prevention. ( Dental appointments Only on Tuesdays. Drop off 7:30a. Pick up about 4p.) Afterwards, Pets get whatever they need for aftercare health and comfort. I took my 7y old (Bree)in May for dental.. This went great. Only 2 teeth removed. Also, my new feline, Ms Frankie, just had her first check up visit in July. With 106 degree day and wzrm car, My little girl was so stressed from the car ride and heat, she started shedding and her temp was high. Dr Carter and staff kept her for a few hrs. Ms Frankie's temp went down and became a little more like herself. She was vaccinated. No dental issues. While I loved Dr. Arnold in Hillsboro, Dr Carter is very close here in Whitney. Both are excellent!

Very, very pleased with quality and the level of care and concerns for my pups. Dr. Carter is amazing and so is her staff. She does great dental cleanings too.Thank you all for being such awesome pet care-givers. Also this is the CLEANEST and best smelling clinic I have ever been to!

I take my dog Tito to this vet. He is a sport and show dog. His care is super important to me and Dr Carter did the most thorough exam I have ever had done on any of my animals! She noticed a tight hip I hadn’t even noticed & going forward we did more stretching with his trainer & chiro to help it get more flexibility & now has the same flexibility as his other hip! She was very knowledgeable on specific concerns I had via my dog’s genetic testing results (MDR1 carrier). We were able to make great decisions for his heartworm & flea and tick prevention using the knowledge she had of that mutation & her medication knowledge. She really cares & her techs are amazing as well! She truly is looking at the full picture of your animal’s health & I could not recommend this clinic more. I am so thankful they came to our town!
