Worst delivery and service ever. It took 6 times to call…they use internet phone service and it cuts out and kept dropping my call. The girl answering used her own phone to call me back and finally get the order. Finally ordered delivery and didn’t want to wait 40 but agreed to reluctantly. I offered to pick it up but it was still a 30 minute wait so I did the delivery order with a wait of 40 minutes; but it came 90 minutes later. When the I said will they offer anything. They had to check with the owner who added to the insult by wanting to check caller ID to make sure it was 90 minutes late. No apology nothing. I was naturally starving and wasn’t going to wait longer while the Luke warm pizza cooled off. They could have offered the small pizza free and coupons for next time but the pathetic response was to just leave. We’re new and will spend $100’s of dollars somewhere else. The horrific service and mentally challenged owner will ruin your night. Do not go there or get delivery. There are tons of places in Winsted.

The macaroni and cheese with Philly steak was incredible. Very good side of french fries as well. Fish and chips special was nice and plenty of fries. A great experience.

Solid greasy spoon style restaurant. Food is good, atmosphere is typical of a diner, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. It's not my favorite food but it's probably some of the best in the area, there's not a ton of restaurants around. You'd have to go closer to Springfield or Hartford to find better. Nothing to write home about but consistently satisfying meals are found here for sure. Breakfast all day and a great menu selection. The staff was the best part, very friendly and attentive.
