This is a great venue. I can't stress that enough. I'm super picky about my beer and i fully understand that the taste and flavor of beer is subjective may vary by person. Let's separate the 2 things. The venue is fantastic. It's outside with a tent. There's an outdoor beer station for you. There are usually food trucks for you. And depending on when you go there will be a farmer market going on. Also, the river/creek is RIGHT THERE for the kids to go wade/play in so you can drink while they play there. It's just a Great location. The beer is just fantastic. Personally, i think what they're doing at Barrow is making beer that is as close to what the style is supposed to be. You're not going to find gimmicky cotton candy, triple hop, sour pickle, type beer here. Just honest, typical style beers that are highly rated in apps like untappd and Beer Advocate.

Open air, draft beer, shade to sit down and enjoy a good pint of beer. Nearby there is a small puddle that kids can enjoy. Overall a very pleasant experience. Had a beer and had a good pizza from a food truck. They have a farmer's market and interesting theme evenings also. And the price for a beer also was appealing, i hope they will keep it simple and enjoyable. Parking is a bit limited but there are signs when you enter the town where you can park the car. I would recommend to stay over the night in Salado to enjoy all the beer selection and nice atmosphere.

Came here to see White Denim play and it was the BEST concert I’ve ever attended. The sunsetting over the creek with the church in the back drop. The grounds are clean and honestly not hard on your butt when you sit on the ground for a concert. The stars above and the sound of the water while you are enjoying outdoor music is magical. The bathrooms were clean! And the beer was great! Don’t think twice about it! If you are thinking about coming here you should do it! You won’t regret it! ❤️

I had a great visit last Sunday afternoon. I’m a beer guy, so that comes first for me. I gave several 4.0 on UnTappd, so a successful visit for me. It’s a pretty place right on the river in Salado with a giant outdoor space. Great servers made it a really nice time. This was only my first visit, but I’ll be back. The beers have a lot of body and flavor even when the ABV isn’t high, which isn’t easy to do. Well done!

Not sure about their website... but I know that if you gave them a call or email, someone would be happy to help you :)
Hi Terra- our apologies for the confusion. It was originally ticketed but the organizer opened it to the public. The taproom will open at 6 pm with a food truck on site. Hope that helps.
1. Glass as opposed to aluminum. 2. Quantity. 3. More extensive brew process for growler beers.
The river area is still good for kids to play.
