Everything about this place has been amazing for me. The people at the front desk are always kind , polite and accommodating. The technicians are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. My doctor, Dr. Meghpara is the best ophthalmologist I’ve ever seen. He gave me my sight back in my right eye. He’s skilled , kind, caring. I would highly recommend Wills Cornea.

First, the quality of care is AMAZNG!! I have been a patient for over 8 years. HOWEVER, the Front Desk customer service had disappeared. Past few visits spread out over several months this year all resulted in a less than desirable outcome. Rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior displayed each time. Disappointing and too bad because it reflects poorly on overall office

Had right eye cornea surgery in July of this year to remove some of the scar tissue from Salzman‘s disorder. Had this done 13 years ago and all is well but the scarring did come back in the right eye. The procedure this time was much different. It involves scraping of the cornea with a scalpel and then the use of a laser. Well, before the surgery I only had problems at night when my people would open up and I was looking through some of the scar tissue in my right eye. Now after the surgery, it appears that the laser damaged my retina such that I cannot even see the E on an eye chart and I have something called a retina pucker. The surgeon said that he does not handle retinas at all; he only handles cornea. I would think he would know enough about the retina, the structure of the eye and the damage that the laser would do to the retina, but apparently he did not - sad for Wills Eye Hospital. Now I cannot see the E on an eye chart with my glasses on. That’s how much damage was done in this cornea surgery, allegedly. Extremely disappointed, disheartened and up the creek since I can now only use one eye. What was supposed to be simple scar tissue removal destroyed my right eye vision. Now have no depth perception as a result. I always thought Wills Eye Hospital was the best, but apparently it is not. If I had known that the surgery and laser would do this much damage, I never would’ve had it done. My cornea may be free of scar tissue but what good does that do when I cannot see. I do not recommend having any type of cornea surgery here.
