Got told by an employee there was complaints about my conversation because it was “too loud” It’s an empty gym of course volume is going to be louder. Better yet I wasn’t even loud. The people that come here just don’t like people who look like me.

I went there yesterday with my sister during my lunch break around 1:50 pm. I payed to have the black card which gives me the option to bring a guest. I’ve been going to the gym since last month which was when I got a membership. My sister has done the waiver many times and never had an issue with the front desk people. Yesterday (10/18/2022) The guy in the front desk kept asking to look at my app after I scanned my black card. I told him my sister was my guest and she already signed the waiver but he kept insisting to look at my app. I didn’t have enough time because I was on my lunch break and I think it’s very uncomfortable for me to show my phone to someone I don’t know when I already scanned my card. If I’m paying extra to bring a guest why do I have to be stopped in the front desk and waste time when I could be working out? If I’m going to have a problem every time I bring a someone even though I pay for it then maybe I don’t want to be part of this gym anymore. When we were leaving he was trying to make fun of us making comments which is very disrespectful from an employee. I’m not sure if I want to keep going to this gym because this employee it’s going to make us uncomfortable every time we go.
