Honestly this was a terrifying experience. There were two very obviously homeless people hanging around inside and outside baggage claim. I had to wait on a ride for 2 hours while one of the people yelled at people passing by, then yelled to himself. And the other person decided to pee behind a pillar where I (a young woman) and other people could see him. And for two hours nobody did anything about these people. I'm not heartless and myself have experienced homelessness and addiction first-hand but an airport is suppose to feel safe, this did not.

There is a parking garage right across the street
Philly airport is a little hectic we barely made our flight being held up at checked baggage. If traveling through philly be prepared and go early early because your taking chances on your flight
