Awful. Service was slow and the manager was absolutely useless. Especially when the 3 lovely ladies walked in. We had called ahead to see if they could accommodate a group of 10. They told us to come in at 7PM and they would have a section ready for us. We got there at 7 and we were seated immediately. The manager expressed how they've been a successful family-owned business for 50 years. Our table ordered a bottle of red wine. It sat on the bar for no less than 30 minutes before our server brought over and said she thought someone else brought it over already. She took our food order at around 7:30. Now during this period of time, the 3 lovely ladies were served their food, along with another table. The manager was happy to take pictures of the ladies and socialize with them while our group had to keep asking our server for water refills and other beverages. We received our food at 8:45 and one of the prime ribs, that was supposed to be rare, came out medium. There was no way we were sending it back after waiting so long for our food. I understand it's hard to find good help these days, but this manager did absolutely nothing to help his staff. Pathetic mentality and he will certainly never see our faces again. Opportunity missed!!

Decided to eat dinner here before a long car drive home. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Staff were very friendly, especially the owner, who frequently checked in on us. Definitely check this restaurant out when visiting Old Forge! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were on vacation and he wanted a steak. So we went to The Steakhouse. The experience was not impressive. It's a "Steakhouse". My husband ordered a Delmonico steak. We waited about a half hour for our food. They were not that busy. He was not impressed with his Delmonico. There was no flavor. It was not seasoned at all. He tried salt, pepper. The cut was very grizzly, there was a grain of fat all throughout the piece of meat. He could not even finish it. For the price of $27.99 he expected more flavor and a better cut of meat. Heather, the waitress was very apologetic. We told her about the meal and she said she would let them know in the back. Heather came back about 15 minutes later and said they were sorry that my husband was not pleased with the meal and that we would not have to pay for his steak. That was not our intention. We just wanted them to know our thoughts about the meal. I had the Haddock special which was very good. Would we go back? I'm not sure.

I've been visiting the Adirondacks for more than 30 years. The Steakhouse has been one of my "go to's". The wait staff is 2nd to none! Always friendly and welcoming. (They laugh at my jokes) The food is phenomenal 😋 The chef is a hidden jewel! Can't waite to visit again!
