Horrible. Room was very old and outdated. Air conditioning unit in the window was extremely loud & did not keep the room cool. Tile coming off on bathroom floor. Rust on baseboard vents, and wallpaper peeling off. Beds were also hard as a rock and pillows were completely flat. I understand “you get what you pay for”, but if the owners just put in a little of money, time and effort, this place could be really nice. Also- pool is not heated & no continental breakfast. Fyi. We left after two nights (out of a 4 night stay) and stayed somewhere else in town. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. One positive- the girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

If I could give this place negative stars I would! Adirondack Lodge Old Forge will NEVER see us again! The only thing wrong with this entire trip! Very disappointed! First off they have maid service door tags u leave on the handle but one front desk women stated they don't provide maid service. That if you need ANYTHING you must to go to the front counter to request what u need or want. No turn down service the whole time there. No restocking of coffee or cups or ANYTHING! this brings me to my second point! My grandmother wakes up and wants to ENJOY her morning by drinking a cup of coffee. As stated before, if you need anything, just ask. Well 7am and NO ONE was at the office. My 80+ y/o grandma had to walk TWO miles for a cup of coffee. The front desk lady was extremely rude and didn't care for our needs or wants. Clearly didn't clean our room before we checked in as we found the bible under the bed, which any hotel/motel goer would know they put it in the nightstand drawer. TV remote did not work, was actually full of water, tub drain was clogged and wouldn't drain. bathroom was not clean apon arrival. Highly disappointed and would NOT recommend anyone giving their money to these fools. The front desk lady needs to go through etiquette classes because she was NOT friendly or caring! You don't eyeroll or laugh at a customers complaints!

Positive: It had a pool for the kids. Negative: Due to an unexpected medical issue I Requested a room change to the main level & was refused. Even though there were numerous rooms available as it was a Sunday to Monday stay. Also no breakfast as advertised. Very disappointed. Will not stay again.

Well worn, rustic, reminiscent of a bygone era when this type of roadside establishment was the place of choice when traveling. While not a modern motel/hotel, I loved this place because the room we stayed in was very clean, neat, and had very few things to complain about. Shower drain was slow, windows were a bit wonky, and sink fixture leaked a little bit. Otherwise, way better condition than many other more expensive places that I have stayed at. Free wifi, indoor pool, laundry facilities, vending machines, nearby grocery store and dozens of eateries- I will definitely stay here again.
