I'm sorry you are going through this. Bring her to Indian River Animal Clinic in Edgewater. Dr. Vanis and his staff will take care of her. It's painless and she will go in peace. You can choose to bring her home to bury or have her cremated and the ashes returned to you. I lost my darling Antonia three weeks ago but I'm glad I took her there because I knew she would be treated with love and care.

As far as I know they only take local animals and are a no kill. They do their very best to help. I'm not sure of the humane society though. I wish you luck. Hope this helped

They just went up to 85 to 100 for kitty prices for shots and spaying/neutering has gone up, so they have no choice but to pass it on.

I think that you are so awesome for wanting to donate for a great cause! You need to call them to ask about that directly. If it were me, as I do have my own kitten, I would not take the risk of using something other cats or kittens have used due to the simple fact that as they use these wonderful scratching devices for necessary maintenance, it may be harmful to other cats or kittens because it is not sterilized or properly cleansed. Another animal may or may not be able to catch some kind of disease and or health issue by using a product for personal hygiene. We all know what human finger nails have beneath them, right? It is the dirtiest and one of many dangerous ways to catch disease should we bite our fingernails and/or never wash our hands. Kittens and cats use their claws to scrape around in litter boxes. Then, after a long day or what have you, use their scratch pad for physical hygiene. I hope this helped you in your decision. I do know they welcome all kinds of gifts.

No. This is a rescue shelter. They don't board pets. They might be able to recommend a place though. Call them and ask.

They must be from edgewater because you have to give and address where u got them. Plus a donation helps when surrendering.
