You have to pay first before they dispatch the taxi. The fare to pay is terrible. Had to go from 11103 to 11102 and they made me pay 53.38 The minivan is so dirty. Pics taken.

EDITED TO ADD: My confirmation number was 17267. I see the owner replied saying they didn't have me in their system. Hopefully they can use that number to see the initial reservation, as well as many, many follow-up messages and emails I have sent them to try to address my concerns with their service and customer response. I can't say I'm surprised that they couldn't find my reservation - they don't seem to know much about customer service! I'm not sure this company is still in business. I attempted to file a complaint with the NY CPS after they charged me over $1k (without authorization or notice) for a ride I didn't receive, and NY CPS notified me that their address wasn't valid and the email is broken. This is probably for the best, as their customer service is atrocious. I attempted to book their services for an agreed-upon price, and then the day before the service they charged me an extra 40% without letting me know - I only found out when I checked my credit card statement. I then spoke to the dispatcher who was actually supplying the ride and he told me that there was a $300 mark-up on the rider that this company was taking for absolutely no reason. Bottom line - took over $1k from me, I spent 6 weeks trying to get the money back, and even the New York Consumer Protection Service can't get hold of them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ride to the appointment was fine but we waited well over an hour for the ride back. The dispatcher lied repeatedly, saying it was five minutes away, then expressing surprise the fourth time I had to call to say it hadn’t yet arrived. When it finally came it was actually an Uber. I could’ve booked an Uber for 1/4 the cost if I’d known. And it would’ve been punctual.

What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?

Assaf Joseph | Oct 25, 2019
NYCWheelchairTransportation.com | Oct 25, 2019

Non-emergency medical transportation is a form of medical transport which is provided for non-emergency situations to people who do not require immediate medical attention. Non-Emergency transportation is a safe and comfortable way of disabled travel without having to transfer from your wheelchair, stretcher, oxygen tank along with any other apparatus needed as long as you do not require immediate medical attention from a EMT, DOCTOR or NURSE. Ambulances, helicopters, and other emergency transport vehicles may also be used in non-emergency medical transport, however the primary use of this type of transportation is to travel with a medical team which can provide urgent life support if the need arises. This type of services can be considered expensive if you do not require such assistance. Thus, Non-Emergency transportation is available by ambulette providers like us.
