BOB V is incredible and made the 5 hour class enjoyable AND informative! I will recommend this school to anyone who’s looking to start driving. It’s a great way to start this new chapter on the road.

I would give 0 stars if possible. THIS SCHOOL IS A SCAM, DON’T BUY THEIR CLASS AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. I highly doubt those positive ratings. I purchased a Spring/Summer package in June 2022. Then they immediately sent me a three-page contract with 1000 tiny words, and somewhere in the contract, they briefly mentioned their courses are out for three months. Moreover, this contract was last edited on 12/07/2021, which means their classes have been out for three months, from December 2021 to June 2022. At first, the 5-hour course of Bob was informative, and the booking system was quick, but everything was terrible after that. Since I was moving out from Staten Island soon and because they couldn’t provide any driving lessons in AT LEAST THREE MONTHS, I called their customer service for a refund, but they said they’re unable to give me a refund based on the contract. So, I disputed the payment but failed due to the contract. So, I called back and requested to turn the rest of the package credit into a gift card to their school, even though the contract stated I could do that. However, they told me my account was “DELETED” due to a dispute WITHOUT INFORMING me (even though I can still log into my account on their website), so they refused to give me gift credit and told me to email their billing department. The email kept telling me they didn’t receive my money after the dispute and claiming the dispute had not been decided. Even after I showed my dispute decision from my bank and told them my bank said they should have received the money, they still claimed they didn’t receive my payment. They gave me the date, 10/12/2022, and said their bank would give out a decision before that date, and they said they would make me updated. For the past two months, they didn’t send one email to me. Even after a week after 10/12/2022, I tried to contact them through email, and IT TOOK THEM THREE EMAILS IN THREE DAYS TO REPLY to ME. And they still say they didn’t receive my funds. So, I paid the $400 to buy the package, and all I got were lies saying they never received my payment after the dispute. They accept the money very quickly, but they would never give you a refund or even gift credit, EVEN IF IT’S ALLOWED ON THE CONTRACT.

Island driving was the best decision I’ve ever made when it came to learning how to drive. The instructors are VERY patient and knowledgeable in teaching you the do’s and don’ts. Lenny B was my all time favorite as he really explained a lot of the concepts to me that really helped my driving skills improved. He takes his time and explain cohesively in a manner in which I can understand, he made me feel very comfortable in the vehicle and on the road. I bought a package where I received 4-5 lessons(I think), car for the road test is included, in addition to them making the road test appt for you and I also purchased the mock test( not required but I recommend). I passed my road test the first try with little to no driving experience prior, if I can do it, you can. Overall, this is a really great school, great quality instructors, great customer service 10/10 recommend.✨
