Mater is an awesome place. We don’t refuse entry to those who are wearing shorts but we make it clear that shorts on men are inappropriate and too casual for the house of God and should not be worn. Jesus was in rags on the cross but now he reigns as King of Heaven and earth. We are to dress in church with basic dignity and respect for the House of God. If you need a pair of long paints, ask for them and we’ll get you a pair. There is no other organization on the face of the earth that does more to help the poor than the Catholic Church.

10 years ago I tried to attend church on a weekend and a man at the chrich stopped me from entering saying they shorts were bo allowed. The first thing I thought of is that Jesus died with bloody rags on and of they would allow poor people in their church. Needless to say, I had to leave. This church is not for me.

As merely a mistaken man as you would your fellow Catholic if they said anything wrong. Unless he says something along the lines of the church is in error, we are to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume well, and simply do Fraternal Correct and pray for them if they do not hear us

The Mass times in the day are 8AM. Their is no daily English mass. The mass is in the Catholic Roman rite which is said in Latin. The booklets in The church have the Latin English translation if you want to follow that. The Catholic Mass for over 1500 years was in the language of the Church which is Latin. You should go its beautiful. Hope that helps.
