I guess if it's the only salvage yard you can get to then it's worth poking around. Some interesting pieces but selection was disappointing. Prices are pretty skewed compared to other places just west or upstate. Wasn't very easy to work with, kept leading us on about stock they supposedly had but which we couldn't track down.

The owner, Evan Blum, owns an abandoned warehouse in Albany that he refused to clean up and which dumped chunks of debris onto Amtrak tracks, causing all trains out of Albany to be cancelled indefinitely. Hundreds of NYers have and will miss trains and had cancelled trips because of him. Rather than clean up his property, he sued the city so it could continue to decay. He also owes back taxes on the property and refuses to pay it. We deserve better than business people like this who disrespect our community and our public transportation. If you do business with him, you are part of the problem.

Hard to Work with. Story tellers. Poor Communication. Would not use them again or recommend to anyone.

My wonderful vintage wrought iron door from Demolition Depot was just installed by Promaster Gates. It's spectacular, couldn't be happier or more satisfied with both companies. Ilona at Demolition was so helpful and patient with me. She went out of her way to help navigate what would or wouldn't work for my project. She she spent loads of time with me to find the perfect solution to my unique security problem. She was candid and had loads of amazing tips for the care and feeding of old wrought iron. This project would have stalled without her. The pictures show the iron door in the second stage. Final painting will happen when the weather warms up. Thanks Ilona it's been a great experience. You have so many beautiful things, I want more!

Questions & Answers

Do you have entry doors. I live in a limestone row house in Brooklyn. The house is approximately 103 years old. I have a 2 door front door that needs to be replaced. Do you have wooden front doors?
