People who live in LI but work in Manhattan and have little kids probably leave work early. Don't forget, it can take a long time to get from the city to LI.

B Q R stop here. The northern entranceway is at the Brooklyn Point Centre between Fleet St and Dekalb St.

B trains are still there, but operates on weekdays. C trains doesn't come to DeKalb Avenue, take the R train to Jay Street - Metro Tech, and it only operates during daytime hours.
