It's been 22 years since I brought my then 6yr old son to this clean family lake. Now I got to bring my 6yr old grandson and granddaughter to this family lake. A few things have changed, but it's still a nice clean family place to picnic & swim and enjoy the family and the day. I'll be back, but it will not take 26 years to do so.

Great little clean lake. The water was perfect, 3 different diving platforms, water trampoline, kids slide, food stand, and equipment for rent. There's also RV spots, little cabins, and picnic areas along the beach. Perfect little area and it wasn't jammed pack with people. Closes at 6pm.

I love this place, it's 8$ to swim per person or 7$ if the group is larger than 4. Floaties are available for rent, so there's that. Staff is nice enough too😁

Beautiful cool clear water with well kept facilities. Wonderful staff and really neat activity area for the kids with a slide, diving board, and high dive. We can't wait to go camping here in August! They are owned by the Colmesneil ISD so I believe they are only open when school is out for the summer. (I could be mistaken)

Not unless it's a bday party. They will not let you take anything in there, but I usually just keep my picnic stuff in my car and go out there and eat it when I'm hungry. They also have a snack bar there so that's the reason why they don't want you to bring anything in.

We went there June 11th and they were closed. The lake is ran by a school, so I'm thinking that's why they aren't open, because the schools are still closed.

No paddle boats when I was there last Sunday 5/27/18 =( Maybe they'll bring them back eventually.
I was there on 5/27/18, the high dive was in use, the lower platform didn't have a diving board, but you can jump off from there, then they still have one of the small platforms (the one by the kiddie slides) that had a diving board... they took out the wet willy slide.
