My wife and I visited Garrison Brothers in January for a tour which we had all my our selves. Our guide was the most knowledgeable about bourbon that we've see in touring dozens of distilleries. He also told the story of Garrison brothers and I won't spoil it for you! So we had a wonderful time. Dropped some $$ in the gift shop. Then went home and we both went on the GB site and registered to volunteer for the "all volunteer bottling team." You see all bourbon bottled at GB is done by volunteers. Sure enough in mid-February we got an invite and we went back to GB on April 1 & 2 and had the time of our lives. If you love great bourbon you have to volunteer for this bucket list experience. You'll love it and make a bunch of friends from around the country in the process!

We've done whiskey tours all over, and this was by far our favorite. You get to see and learn about every step of the process from each of the experts. Plus, the Texas Hill Country views are amazing. The bourbon is delicious and the people are top notch. We've already been back! Watch their website for events--food and drink menus are yummy.

Really enjoyed the tour. Guides were informative and entertaining. Samples were so good, got to tastes the mash, the white dog and the blended bourbon. Everyone was so friendly and beautiful surroundings.

Our second time here was during the Red, White and Bourbon celebration. Proceeds were donated to the Pacific war museum in Fredericksburg which you should check out too. Beautiful outdoor area with shaded seating areas. Some yard games. Food is available on their normal days. Nice gift shop with lots of different items including several varieties of their bourbon. No buying that on Sunday though. Covered outdoor bar area as well. Tours are available during normal hours so you can experience the bourbon making process. You can also sign up and do some bottling yourself Great bourbon and a great place to hang out.

Depending on the vintage, but expect 45 or more per bottle retail
We are dog friendly but they are not allowed on the tour. They can play and have a good time down low at the gift shop but are not allowed in the cook house or still house.
Yes. Tours full quickly. Reserve online. If it's full, I'd call and see if they can fit you in anyway. We just took the tour Thursday and it was well worth it!
Call them direct
No TABC doesn't allow alcohol sales by the bottle on Sunday's
We stayed at Best Western in Johnson City also 20 minutes away then in Fredericksburg the next night.

Dogs on a leash. Alligators not permitted. Longhorns always welcome. Come visit us for a spell. I'll personally give you a tour!
TABC is very Gestapo about this. Certain vendors (like the local wineries) have figured out creative work-arounds. The short answer is no, but depending on who you ask they might know of a way to do it.
They do. The ones i saw there were more for decoration use but if you want one for brewing 🍺 you'd have to talk to the staff. Unfortunately i cant remember price.
Tours are Wednesday thru Sunday. 10 AM 12PM 2PM 4PM. $10 everyday except Saturdays are $20. Free for current and former military, police, fire and first responders. Come on out and try great Texas bourbon! I'll be giving tours at 4 PM on Sundays. Come say hello.
