Don’t leave your loved ones here unless you want them to spend the rest of there days in hell. The nursing staff could care less about the residents and see them much more as pests then living people with feelings nursing constantly complains about having to do the bare minimum for there residents and cant even care enough to learn there names. The kitchen staff is a joke with most every meal coming from a can or box and none of the staff even able to cook a decent meal. Residents complain daily about the food and how horrible it is. It’s a joke that they charge an arm and a leg for a resident to stay there and have no care in the world how those residents are treated. They are flat out stealing from these people and I highly advise you ask around before ever leaving your loved one here.

Male employees favored from female management. Are not questioned for behavior that a female staff would be. Armchair management basing decisions on employee opinions. Some staff arent able to perform all duties yet remain employed. Lots of miscommunication and rumors among staff. Staff constantly upset about not getting enough hours. Kitchen at night is unsupervised with high school kids.residents always upset and forever complaining about food. The soups made are literally concoctions. Amongst other things. Menu is redundant lots of canned foods offered. Do yourself a favor and ask a resident what to expect before signing a lease.

We were very disappointed with the recent holiday meals for Mom this year. In years past, they have had much better meals around Christmas and New Years homemade casseroles and glazed ham. For dinner on New Years eve Mom said they had some cold split pea soup and biscuits. We were there for lunch and they had prime rib that seemed really inedible. A lot of the dining staff we talked to say it is because of money running out at the end of the year. Had we known we would have gladly picked up a pizza or something for Mom and her friends! I think you folks can do better. We have nothing but the highest praise for the nursing staff who were so apologetic and equally disappointed when we talked to them.

Hi, Karin, it's Vickie at 3801 Grand! I wanted to give you a little additional information here via messaging! We have a couple of options for memory care assistance, depending on what level of assistance is needed. Our general population assisted living is licensed as "program dementia," meaning that we have some extra safety measures in place for someone who isn't quite ready for memory care but does need some extra memory support. For someone who needs more memory support and assistance than what we can offer in our general population assisted living, we have a lovely memory care wing, made up of 12 private apartments. Our memory care residents have their own dining room and common spaces, including a beautiful courtyard. We provide activities for our memory care residents that are tailored to their specific needs. We currently have one opening in memory care and two openings in our general population assisted living. Please don't hesitate to call me to chat about either one!
