They definitely need to have help, which is volunteer help, that actually know the rules, I'm talking about the person, who is a lady, that takes down your name, or names!!!! She refuses to let you pick up items for a person who doesn't drive or is unable to get there!!! She says they have to be in the vehicle. She is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, BUT YOU CAN'T TELL HER ANYTHING!!!!

I don't understand, why are you hoarding do much food that you need a bigger building? Why don't you give it to the surronding counties that need it instead of building a bigger place to hoard it in. Why not put that mobile truck in front of Walmart who has raised prices on so many product by $2 to $5, and hand out the free food there? How about using that money to get more food instead of brick & mortar? Thanks Gov Reynolds for making YOUR IOWANS SUFFER.

Excellent place to deliver. Friendly staff and a fast unload. They even went nice enough to take me early. Five stars all the way!

Great place to volunteer and give back directly to the Iowa community. Their set up is simple and easy as far as new volunteers go, you just go to their website, search for whatever shift you can do, and sign up. The facility is always clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They offer lockers for you to put your personal items in for free, which is a huge bonus in the winter. I go about once a month and I see the same volunteers every time with some new ones sprinkled in. The shifts go fairly quickly and you definitely leave feeling like you accomplished something.

Cody, Food Bank of Iowa is not a DMARC pantry, but the DMARC pantry network is one of our partner agencies. If you are searching for pantries that are not DMARC pantries, please visit our get help tool at https://www.foodbankiowa.org/gethelp
You would need to find a food pantry not the food bank.
You can. You need to bring proof of residence like a photo ID and they are only open limited hours, so maybe double check the hours before you go.
