When we got there(reservation was under a friends name. We we were there with 2 other couples), our reservation had been cancelled by the hotel. This was not our error and while the manager claimed she was doing her best to rectify the mistake, they moved very slow in getting us a room. Long story short they were suppose to give us 2 rooms and could only find 1. So 6 of us stayed in the room. The room was nice and clean and had 2 queen beds and gave us 2 cots. Was not an ideal situation but we made the best of it. The manager, Grace did what she could and she gave us 6 free continental breakfasts worth 12.99 a pc. It worked out but still was not ideal. Maybe when they have more help to get rooms cleaned and ready on time, and don't cancel reservations (not intentionally), it would have been a better stay.

We specifically booked this hotel for the jacuzzi. On the website there was no indication that the jacuzzi was closed because of covid. When we checked in, I asked the concierge where the pool and jacuzzi was located, she never notified us that the jacuzzi was closed. I hate it when a business intentionally hides an offered amenity that is actually not available. Shame on you! Also, in the evening around normal bedtime, we heard this pounding on doors near our room. It happened several times throughout the hallway. We called the concierge to report this. A few minutes later, we received a call back and was told the maintenance guy was supposed to fix something in the room next to ours. What the @$#%$^?! ...has anyone heard of knocking on a door instead of pounding so it shakes everyone's walls?! We had thought it was some crazy group of people wanting to create havoc!

The room was nice, but only one elevator was running. This made it take forever to get up and down from the higher floors on a busy weekend. It is in a good location. Be ware! Their parking garage is closed and they make you pay a parking fee to park down the street at a bank parking lot.

Reasonably priced accommodation in the Berkshires area. Usually a safe option. This particular location seemed to struggle with resource capacity - but that may have to do with the peak weekend we visited over. They are currently going through a parking lot repair situation. The lot on site is flagged for structural damage and needs complete renovation. This means your car needs to go through a valet service, the poor guys need to drive the cars over to a parking lot a block over then get back to rinse and repeat. Can take 40 minutes from request to getting your car back. Interiors are well engineered, maintained, operated efficiently. Did not care much for a new rule of rooms being serviced every 5 days. Thankfully a request to the front desk got ours refreshed. Would love to return again, preferably on less crowded days.

It appears renovations on rooms are done. They have been working on the parking garage it's looking better and finally the front circle has been paved and spruced up. I feel sorry for the new owner. I don't think he knew how deteriorated the place was. But honestly they are working hard with improvements everyday. I heard what he paid just for the new blacktop and it was outrageous. So I'd say he's doing his best. It was a total eye sore but it's turning out nice.

If you book directly through the hotel they do offer a special price to include breakfast. It's cheaper than if you buy it that morning. It's a buffet-style breakfast and I found it to be very good for a buffet-style breakfast at a hotel
