It is rare to get exceptional customer service these days. Especially from a governmental office. Rhonda Taggart went far above what I expected to get my work done. I mailed my registration paperwork. I waited about one month. I provided my email address. They never contacted me. I called and was told that they returned my paperwork to me only because the office manager of my company mailed the paperwork for me. I completed all the paperwork myself. They apparently make up random excuses to reject applications. But I never received my original title and other dealer documents from them. I asked when they mailed them. They don't know. I asked where did you mail them, they are not sure even though they had my address on the form. I asked if they mailed them with tracking. No, they did not. I believe that they just threw my documents away and now it will cost me hundreds of dollars and weeks of delays to get new original documents from the dealer and previous lienholder. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY and maybe illegal FOR THEM to throw away my documents. And two coworkers told me the same happened to them the same month I mailed my documents to them. Their excuse is that they don't accept applications from third parties. But that is not the case here. I completed all my paperwork personally. I am an employee of a large company. I gave my paperwork to the office manager to check over before mailing and all she did was mail my paperwork. So obviously vindictive and crazy people who will throw your paperwork in the trash for any random reason.

Depends on the State. I have to have California liability insurance to drive in California even though I live in Tijuana and have SD plates. Hope this helps.
