I cannot express how grateful I am to Billie and Peter. I wanted the best German Shepherd in my lifetime and I got him. Joey. Thank you for your impeccable breeding standards. They are simply the best and don’t give them a second guess. You will get the best companion of your life. Debbie Swanson, Greensboro, NC

I have had my 11 week old GSD from Raven Hill assessed by a professional protection trainer and he was impressed. She is fearless and driven. I absolutely love the folks at Raven Hill, they are amazing people and would never consider buying a GSD from anyone else.

This is a very good website if you are interested in getting a jack russell or German Shepard! I found it to be extremely easy to navigate and find the information I was looking for. And the jack russell pictures will melt your heart! Especially if your like me and recently had my best friend, who was an amazing beautiful jack russell, pass away. I highly recommend this site to anyone!

I picked up my girl Liesel, who is now 11 months old, on March 6, 2021. I can still remember holding that little nugget in my arms for the first time – the happiest day of my life. I had visited Ravenhill Kennel a month earlier, as I wanted to see the adult dogs, the momma, the daddy, and other relatives. I also wanted to see the facilities the dogs were raised in. The beauty and temperament of all the dogs, as well as the idyllic farm setting in which they are bred and raised, and Billie’s extensive knowledge and experience with dogs, breeding and German Shepherds, won me over completely. I knew before I left that day that I was going to get a puppy from Billie. In fact, I put down a deposit, even though I had not decided yet whether I wanted a male or female. That fact that she is a Stevie Ray Vaughn fan is a plus as well; it shows good taste. Liesel has been a treasure and a blessing. She is healthy, very smart, and so good with people and dogs, of all breeds and ages, people and dogs, lol. Everywhere I go, everywhere, I get countless compliments about her beauty and her temperament. I can’t tell you how many people have remarked, “She is so well-behaved.” While I can take a tiny bit of credit for the work and training I’ve done with her, more of the credit goes to the fact that she is a German Shepherd, but the vast majority of the credit (for both her beauty and temperament) goes to Billie Sumrell. Her careful breeding practices and raising of the pups ensures dogs that are well-bred with strong lines, gorgeous looks, and impressive trainability and confidence. You can pay more for a purebred German Shepherd (in some cases a lot more), but I seriously doubt you will find a better puppy anywhere. Although I have gushed, I feel like I have fallen far short of giving the praise I should to Billie Sumrell of Ravenhill Kennel. My girl Liesel is a better dog than I ever dreamed I would own. Finally, this is not a plug for her Instagram account, but if you want to see pictures and videos of my Liesel in action, it is @liesel_the_lovely. This will show you more about the quality of dog you will get from Billie than I could say in hundreds of pages.

yes

I live in Asheboro and had English Shepherds most of the time from 1945 when I was ten until my Rex died three years ago. What colors are most of your pups?

I have Black and red typical of German showline shepherds. We also have black showline dogs but the point is German breeders are not impressed with the loss of pigment with whites, creams and also discourage OVERSIZED shepherds. Since it is detremental to the health of the dog. Often seen with backyard breeders and muchismo breeders
