It's not a great music venue, regardless of who shows up. The sound is bad. The audio quality, is not good. The music is often too loud for the actual volume of the building, or the soundscape created by the brick walls and slot machines. The higher frequencies bounce around until you really can't hear anything. Great musicians in a very middling performance space. The bartenders are good. The place stays clean.

I go there often n see all walks of life there! The owner barry is super laid back. Im not sure who served you but John n keeley are amazing!!!! You may have gotten a bartender or server on a bad day but you should probably give it another try it's really not like that

Mondays there is a cover for the IBC has entertainment brought in from around the US. The drafts have a good variety available but they vary.
