I realize this is very late in coming, but it might help others. No sheath knives at camp during cub scout or troop scout events. I'm not sure about the rules for venturing, as my kids aren't in that program. The folding knives are limited in blade size. Each scout can carry a blade no longer than his or her palm is wide, provided he or she has a whittlin'/totin' chip on his or her person.
Not to my knowledge. What activity are you looking for?
Hi there Mike! Just want to clarify: did you mean 2022 NYLT sessions?
food donations in the St. Louis area are delivered to the St. Louis Area Foodbank for further distribution to over 500 hunger-relief programs and local agencies in the bi-state area. In southeast Missouri and southern Illinois, Scouts take donations directly to local food pantries.

The Scout Shop return policy is to refund purchases via the same method of payment the item was purchased with. They can only refund in cash if the item was originally purchased with cash and an original receipt is presented. Credit card purchases can only be refunded to the credit card that was used for the original purchase, with the original receipt. All other returns (including returns without an original receipt) are done as an in-store credit on a gift card.
My son needed it to attend NAYLE last year.
Scouting for Food bags are put on doors 2 Saturdays before Thanksgiving. The following Saturday before the holiday the bags are collected.
The specific activities vary from troop to troop, and are often planned by the youth leaders of that troop. The requirements to earn ranks and merit badges include Camping, First Aid, Service Projects, Physical Fitness challenges, Sports, Reading, Collecting, Skateboarding, Biking, STEM projects, and lots more.
With the new Lions program, kids can join Cub Scouts as soon as they start Kindergarten!
