I was at this location for a purpose then launching a boat. I was part of a group doing a radio communications exercise, but while I was there I was able to watch several people launch their boats. For being early on a Saturday morning the place was busy. Still, everyone proceeded in organized fashion, got their boats in the water and then parked their tow vehicles. There is plenty of parking, ingress and egress from the area is easy and the roads are wide enough to make wife turns with a trailer. There is a check-in station and I think the fee to use the boat ramp is $7 but this didn't apply to me, so I can't confirm. If I had a boat and wanted to put it on the lake, I would consider using this facility.

Avoid! Overcrowded as well as a myriad of folks that do not respect any sense of order when launching or pulling out. We literally ran away from this place rather than launch. One driver pulling out sped so fast they almost collided with another driver backing up to launch. Parking lot does not accommodate many trailers. It’s basically a clusterf.

0800 ramp opens. Little late but a good ramp.

Great ramp for dropping boats, even shady spots to park and a bathhouse if needed.
