Diversy Harbor is right in the city, restaurants, entertainment, Lincoln Park zoo, driving range to hit golf balls. Once you’re in the parking gates you feel like you’re out of the rat race.

$30 to park. Free to launch. It is a two lane launch so lines can be long going in and coming out. The left side lane is for jet skis and right side lane is for boats. We had a smaller boat and wanted to test it out on Lake Michigan. 16 footer motor boat - word to the wise, not big enough for the Lake Michigan waves LOL. There is a stop light to get out to the lake and we much preferred being in the harbor than we did outside of it. Not a good spot for us, but a good spot for larger boats. We wound up going to Daley Boat Launch to get onto Chicago River. Also free to launch, $30 to park. Not as nice of an area as this harbor is and no security gates at Daley, but it’s the only option for our sized boat to get into the river.
