Best kept secret in the state. Comfortable beds, clean, and great staff. The two Dustin’s and bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Easy access to downtown Deland, another gem. If you like going to vintage places, this should be on your bucket lists.

We stayed about two weeks ago. The room was comfortable and clean. Some reviewers mentioned hot water issues, but we didn't experience any. We also had no noise issues from the bar/restaurant on the first floor. My only critique would be the room was very plain; some art would have been nice. We would definitely stay again in the future.

This was one of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed at. We booked here for the Daytona 500 since it was much much less expensive than booking in Daytona. Historic old building with an incredible atmosphere. The bar downstairs was amazing. I wish I had a bar like this close to home. The bar tenders were some of the best I've met. The restaurant in back is really good and you can order at the bar. Talking with the owner, he's working on updating the place and addressing some of the concerns that other reviewers have expressed. The bed was comfortable enough but could be better. The water does take a lonnnngg time to get hot and there is no AC in the room. The AC was the biggest nuisance for me. My room was hor and found myself leaving my door open to air out the room. All that said I very much enjoyed my stay and would book again without hesitation.

Great staff, convenient location and very unique. We were checked in by the personable owner who took the time to tell us the history of the hotel. He also upgraded us to a larger room, free of charge, since it was available. There is a wonderful bar in the hotel with 2 awesome, accommodating bartenders. The DeLand hotel is a short 1/2 mile walk to downtown DeLand where you’ll find many shops and restaurants. We actually came in for an event in Orlando and found the 40 minute ride on I-4 quite easy. The rooms were comfy and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area.
