If there were a choice I can give them negative stars, I really would have been given it. It took more than a half year to be processed due to their due diligent problem. They are not professional at all. So if you really want to receive your card, go to another office. This place is full of discrepancies and unprofessional.

I'd rather swallow broken glass than call here

Awesome experience! Went to get a new SS card with my new married name. Was in and out in 15 minutes and that was in the middle of the day. The staff at the desk and the security guard are very nice and extremely competent even when presented with a unique situation. Their kiosk machine was very efficient also! Public offices like this one make me so happy that we live in Champaign!

Me too I can't stand talking to people on the phone I Like face to face in real time please let us know thank you for your services 💞
When I went they said I would need a certified medical record to get a replacement for my child
Yes, anytime you change your name, for any reason, you should update your card.
I went into the office 3-months before my 65th birthday month to sign up for Medicare. I was told since I already started receiving SS at age 62, I am automatically enrolled in Medicare. We asked to decline part B effective start date until June 1 however were not told by doing this we would have to re-enroll for part B 3-months before the effective date. Now we are without insurance for 3-months due to a mistake by Champaign IL staff.
No they going to tell u u have to get it in the mail
There is no fast tracking this as once you request it the cards are physically printed in Baltimore then mailed to your address on file.
They may be appointment only and you have to wait outside due to covid. So call before you show up. There is always a line outside
They encourage you to get appt. Wait time about 1 hour.
They are but you have to call to get an appointment
I am in the same situation. I was told I can apply for an ITIN number and make my tax declaration with it. https://www.itin-services.com/
