Bought a used BMW 340i a few days ago, and as usual, much less of a hassle at Isringhausen than most car buying experiences. This is my third car purchase from Isringahusen, all used. Despite not being the high dollar customer, they have always been straight forward, professional, and treated me like I was. Previous sales guy had retired since my last purchase, and I got connected with Sean Brown. He’s relatively new to Isringhausen, but was personable, quick to respond, and was no BS when he needed to be. He seemed to have a great knowledge base about these cars, even though the brand was new to him. He was quick to find out anything He didn’t know. I test drove two cars in two days; I had no intention to buy a car that day, but they worked with me to get down to a price I was happy with; Sean even drove back in during the evening when we were trying to close the deal. He didn’t need to do that, but I appreciate that he was willing to do that to take care of me. Much appreciate when my own professional life is in predictable. So far, the car is a blast to drive and I’m glad I came in to drive it. The extended solo test drive is how they get you; really get a feel for the joy of driver even a used BMW with all the bells and whistles. I’m afraid my tastes will now turn only more high dollar…and if so, I’ll look forward to coming back to Isringahusen and working with Sean Brown!

This dealership is great as far as buying experience as well as having knowledgeable salesmen. However they are notoriously known for having the worst prices in the country. You’ll never find a “good deal” here per say.

I didn’t buy my BMW from Isringhausen, but I had them service it while it was under warranty. I was having an issue with a squealing noise just before my auto engine start/stop function would initiate. The first time I brought it in, they billed me $120 and said the oil cap was loose which caused the squealing (not covered under warranty). Upon driving a mile down the road, I turned back around and brought it back in after hearing the squealing sound. Next, they replaced the battery with a “BMW certified battery” since I had an aftermarket battery. Of course this didn’t fix the issue, but to no surprise, they billed me for install, removal, and reinstallation of my previous battery (not covered under warranty). Their next blind guess was to replace the serpentine belt—the sound persisted, so I returned (covered under warranty). I later received a call that they couldn’t replicate the noise, so I needed to come in and do a test drive with the technicians—I showed them how to make the squealing sound and I left. I was informed they did a smoke test, but couldn’t find a leak. I was getting fed up so I did my own online research; I passed along my findings and they replaced the valve cover gasket based on my recommendation. This finally fixed the issue, but a couple weeks passed and the squealing sound was back and now oil was visibly dripping on the exhaust manifold and causing smoke. After another visit, they replaced the gasket again, stating it had curled—something they were surprised by (this time service was a courtesy because my warranty had ended). A few months later, of course, the squealing sound was back. I once again did my own research to learn that any time the valve cover gasket goes bad, it is because the valve cover has cracked or warped. Thus, both should be replaced or the gasket will continue to go bad—something I would expect any mechanic to know or at least realize after the first failed attempt at replacing the gasket. With my warranty over, this $1k repair will be out of my own pocket because of their amateur technicians. It should also be noted that I spent a significant amount of time without my car, a significant amount of time and money driving to and from their service center over the course of a month, and after my last visit, they returned my car back to me with the engine light on (they somehow triggered an O2 sensor fault which I’m still trying to figure out why/how). I wouldn’t suggest servicing your car here for any reason. Follow up: I have since been using Eurosport for oil changes and when I mentioned the squealing they did a free diagnostic, gave me a no-obligation repair quote, and were significantly more knowledgeable about EVERYTHING I asked about regarding my car and repairs.

Drove from St Louis to Isringhausen to purchase my new Jaguar F-Pace Portfolio. Had the pleasure of working with Sean Brown who is very knowledgeable, genuinely kind and a consummate professional. It was a great buying experience working with Sean. I highly recommend him and this dealership.
