The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Even though we arrived after the last tour started, she took the time to answer questions and help my daughter get info for an extra credit project she was doing.

Questions & Answers

Does this site have public walking trails?

Jerry Radford Jr | Oct 24, 2020
Johnny Carter | Oct 24, 2020

No. It's an 1800s farmstead, but a relatively small site. For walking trails I'd suggest Cliffs of the Neuse or Bentonville Battlefield near Newton Grove. Miles of trails available at both.

Is there a fee to enter & visit?

No. Totally free, although there is a donation box.
