After being here for a little over a year now, I can honestly say that this is the BEST Apartment Home I have ever lived. The front office is AMAZING, from the manager(Ms. Purcell) to (Ms. Coceres) and let's not forget (Ms. Whitaker), these are some amazing people. The maintenance personel is always on the spot for any issues you may have day, nights or weekends. The grounds are kept immaculate and free of any loose articals. Clubhouse is the best if you are looking for activities for the young and older residents. I could go on and on but do yourself a favor, if you are looking for your next home, look no further than The Heritage at Arlington.

Update: Thanks for the response. It was wonderful to be out for a walk with my husband and have the property manager approach us regarding my review and telling me she thought we were friends, telling me she was disappointed in the review I had left and asked what I expected her to do about everything. Also, renter beware. If your carpet is not newly installed carpet, be sure to ask for a walk through. Have them pull up the carpet and take pictures or risk being charged for multiple years that the complex believes their carpet should last. Incredibly disappointed but lesson learned. I can only imagine how many college students they do this to. The apartments are beautiful but that is all I have good to say about The Heritage at Arlington. When I toured the community I specifically asked if there was much noise (knowing that I'd be in a college town) and was told other then the occasional dog barking, it was pretty quiet. That was lie number one. During the summer there are weekend parties at the pool. I or my husband have made mention of the parties multiple times. Once I was told to call the cops if it is too loud, another time I was told they don't know it's loud if they aren't told. The office manager walked out to the pool and asked them to turn down the music. 5 minutes later, the music was terribly loud again and when my husband called to let the office know, he was told they were just out there to say something. The party continued, no one cared. Regularly, the parties go till well after 11pm. Another thing we asked when we toured was where our apartment would be, they showed us an apartment that faced the parking lot. That was lie number 2. Our apartment faces the pool. Had I known, I would have looked elsewhere. There is dog feces all over the grounds and multiple renters that allow their dog to run the property without leashes. I have been here seven months and there has been exactly one email/notice that has gone out in regards to this. Keep in mind, there are three dog parks on the property. The trash compactor is regularly over filled or broken which leads to renters leaving large piles of trash in front of it. The recycling center is regularly filled with broken trash bags all over. The bicycle racks are full of rusted bikes that are falling apart and are missing tires. I had mentioned this once to the office and was told it will be taken care of when it slows down. 7 months later, the bikes that have clearly been left behind are still taking up space and the bike racks are unusable. A new package concierge has been implemented however, packages are regularly misplaced and renters are not properly notified. While I understand that this is likely due to carriers, I am unsure how this is a feature verses a bug and how this helps renters or carriers for that matter. Over the summer I had an air conditioning unit failure that took 3 maintenance trips and 2 days to resolve. The air filters are not replaced unless requested and the fire alarms are never checked/tested. The gate which was a selling point for me, is regularly stuck open so what is the point?

I wanted to leave a review for a great complex. I am one of the first Residence that has moved in and stayed. I can honestly say I feel very comfortable in this gated community. Great customer service and always willing to be more than helpful. The front office has had nothing but amazing people, down to the maintenance men are always a call away. There’s always a fun function they hold at the clubhouse that is always well thought out. There’s so many options to do here on site, without having to leave and spend tons of money. This feels like a place I can call my home!

My daughter and roommate have been without ac for two weeks. They put two SMALL window units in their bedroom to cool the whole apartment, nope it doesn’t work that way. Their apartment is 85 degrees and not a single person in that office cares. Heat index over 100, you try cooking and drying clothes in an 85 degree apartment!!!!!
