Love the concept and understand they need to profit but pretty pricey for more than an occasional treat.

A good de-stress place. Most of the paints and the glazing are included in the prices. Keep checking back in to see what new items they have, because some are limited.

This was such a fun experience. We are in town visiting and my daughter just loved making her own piece. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Their staff were good at explaining the paints and providing help, however they were so nasty to me when I asked for the special paint that made the spots. I was aware it costed extra and that it wasn’t food safe so it shouldn’t go on the insides of the cup, but the lady gave me so much attitude when telling me as if I’m not allowed to use it at all! I couldn’t help but feel I was racially profiled in that moment because the other guests attending were white and did not receive the same hostility. They were more patient and calmer. My date was upset for my experience and we still received our cups the next week and the quality was fine. Just the hostility was so unnecessary and humiliating. I might not return here out of fear I’ll get profiled again just for wanting to paint.

Questions & Answers

Can you throw your own pieces, or is this only for finishing remade pieces?

There are private lessons you can sign up for where you throw your own and paint it, but otherwise you'll just be picking from their bare premade pottery to paint it.

how much is it

Prices vary by piece. Larger pieces are more, think 30 to 40. Small pieces and ornaments can be 8 to 12. There is no fee for paints or firing, only the cost of the piece unless you want speciality paints!

How expensive is this?

The prices start at $8 per piece of pottery. You pay for the piece you want and the paint is included. They have other paint that is special and those carry an extra charge. So your visit all depends on what you want to do.
