We always love bringing our dogs here. They are so happy when they get to run!! Today we came and noticed that trees were cut down and brush cleared out and doggos loved it!!

We stopped by this dog park on our way home with our new puppy. A great place to stretch our legs around the pond, the park was safe and well appointed. Clean and spacious, we enjoyed our brief visit. We stayed in the public area and did not enter the dog park area, but we enjoyed the features we did see.

Really this fenced area cannot be deemed a "dog park" really more of an area where irresponsible dog owners bring their dog to poop while they smoke. Both times I have visited there have been altercations with aggressive dogs resulting in foul language being exchanged. It is not maintained, nor does it offer any agility or interaction area . No areas for owners to share information. This would give owners an opportunity to help those less familiar with a dog park environment in proper socialization and proper etiquette to create a more safe environment for exercise and play. Keeping it clean and maintained as not to spread disease. Overall too small and poor design. Wooster should have a look at the park that Marysville OH built. It is an excellent example of a great dog park with limited land usage.

Questions & Answers

Last time I was there, the fencing was out and rolled to the side, are they getting rid of the park? Or just renovating?
