Yes, they serve very large cheese and meat plates from Boar's Head. You are also permitted to bring in your own food. There is usually a Food Truck onsite for special events. Check their website under Events for the Food Truck dates.
Yes, they have an annual four-day Mums & Wine Festival the second week of September. All mum sale profits go to the local Fire Department. In addition, when you purchase a bottle of wine you receive a free mum and the Fire Department still gets the same donation from the winery just as if the mums were purchased. They have a similar three-day fundraiser over Memorial Day weekend for LifeCare Hospice using Geraniums instead of Mums.
Yes, the Hilton Gardens and a Comfort Inn are both new and about 5 minutes away.
Very nice classey winery....good wines....not a resturant but cheese plates. Known for good music groups in the summer months. Good clientele. Owner is very personable.
