I have epilepsy which cause me to have grand mal seizures if I do not have my anti convulsant medication. His office went a week and a half before responding for a request for a refill when I was totally out. Thankfully my pharmacist gave me an emergency supply so I wouldn’t miss a day. I switched my primary physician due to this ridiculous mishandling of life threatening withholding of medication. Dr Swanson is wonderful, but unfortunately one has to go through his horrid reception staff. They outright accused me of just being there at my last appointment “just because I need drugs” mind you after they said I had to come in to get refills a year ago. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have two young kids and a wife that would’ve likely woken up to their father/husband seizing to death.

Dr. Swanson is both rude and a liar. He gets frustrated when people forget things, yet forgetting things is the most common side effect of neurological problems and he is a neurologist. He lies about how much he turns up your VNS, and he lies about whether you take your meds or not while holding the blood level test results in his hand that prove that you _have_ been taking your meds. He now practices both in Montana and in Idaho, so he's constantly exhausted. When I was underweight he refused to acknowledge that I was on two meds which, statistically, cause weight loss, yet he refused to acknowledge that and switch meds. Why? 'Cause he don't care.
