My room was smelling smoke really bad. They couldn't give me a different room because the hotel was totally booked. But the front desk lady gave me a "smoke eliminator" spray. It didn't help that much with the odor but at least she tried to help.

The service me and my family received was great and the blonde lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful the whole time we stayed there. Her name is Lexi and I would recommend asking her for anything you need because of how helpful she is. She didn't give me any trouble at all when asking for help and she'd always get whatever I needed instantly. Very good workers, service, and rooms.

Normally love Holiday Inn Expresses, but this one is an exception. The service was okay, though the coffee was so weak it looked like tea, and the pancake machine was broken. The main issue, though, was the room. Things seemed okay until nightfall, at which point we wondered why it wasn't getting dark. Lo and behold, a giant parking lot light was pointed directly into the window. Just close the curtains, you say. We tried, but the curtains are purely decorative, and the track doesn't run under the window itself. And so the room stayed brightly lit all night. It was awful, and I would never come back.

I got a non-renovated room. Didn't really mind. Requested specifically for a quiet room. Got one with a connected room/suite where the TV volume was on full at 5am to wake me up. Instead of the regular office chair, there was a lounge chair to work on the table making it very uncomfortable. Also the table being next to the aircon, if we are taking calls, you have to switch the aircon off else the folks in conf room will hear the wind blowing noise.
