This is the best Indian gourmet food I have ever had. Chef Charles served most of the food. He seems to enjoy interacting with a lot of customers. Each member of out table received the chef's tasting menu. The only negative I would say is that for $49 you get so much food that you end up with left overs. I know we all love left overs but I also want to see chef Charles and urban village grill succeed and stay here for a long long time. Tasting food like this come once in awhile. It is the best Indian gourmet period. Like most people mention the coconut curry is out of this world. I'll go step further and say since I hate kale, he made me a kale lover with the kale appetizer To Chef Charles I think you are amazing and wish you the best. I think your portions are very generous and would reduce some. When you came over to our table, you had plans to expand the menu. As a previous restaurant owner, the current menu offers plenty of options. I actually think I would reduce the menu. Your food is amazing, your service is amazing. The amount if spice is perfect. I don't think is necessary to expand. My suggestion work on small details, such as word of mouth, advertising, some details around the restaurant. The food you are a master.

This is the first time ever I am rating an Indian restaurant as 5-star and I cannot be more happy! It was an impromptu dinner plan and I was not expecting much from this place. It is an Indian fusion restaurant and the menu keeps changing every few months. The ambience is soothing and service is great unlike other Indian restaurants around. We ordered rasam, south style fried fish, butter chicken and Garlic naan. Prices are as expected and not too much. Every food item was delicious and appetizing. The menu is not over the top and you can feel a lot of thought process took place to chalk out the menu. Cannot wait to be back to try their patio grill. Hats off to the chef for coming up with the concept of Indian fusion food in Denver! Wish you all the very best and hoping the service is good and food is delectable as today! I would highly recommend it! We recently tried their grill menu and it was an amazing experience. The marination sauces are tasteful and goes with every protein option available in the menu. We had hariyali chicken, Shrimps and achari paneer. You get the marinated raw protein that you order as per your taste, once the grill is hot, place the shrimps, chicken, paneer, etc on the grill and let it cook in a tandoor way. Ideally, each side 90 seconds is enough to cook is what the chef recommends. Enjoy your food with mint chutney, hot sauce and sone inions and lemon wedges. We will definitely come back again for this grilling experience.
