I'm still amazed by how simple and reasonable the process was. I've wanted to get certified for years, but was always so daunted by the process. The whole procedure couldn't have taken longer than 20 minutes, and my physician was remarkably kind and empathetic. I can't recommend Leafwell highly enough.

My first experience with a doctor went very well so I was optimistic about speaking to a doctor for my renewal. Unfortunately this experience did not go as well. The doctor that called me seemed agitated from the start. I can understand people being burnt out by having to make these calls all day. But, once you're burnt out, perhaps you should stop and take a break. The call felt more like an interrogation, and the way she asked things felt very inappropriate. She very bluntly said "Tell me about the anxiety" and I froze. I asked what she needed to know and she sounded very annoyed while explaining the information she needed to get. After asking follow up questions with that, she said "Tell me about the PTSD". I froze again. If you know anything about mental health, you'll know that any stranger asking you about anything that directly links to trauma will most likely cause all of those traumatic feelings and memories to rush to the present moment. Typically called... being triggered. It was not a good feeling. I was able to finish the call but the triggered response lasted with me for days. The doctors that make these calls need to be aware that this can happen. No matter how many calls they've made, each one needs to be treated as if it's the first. This doctor took what should have been an easy 5 minute call and turned it into a hurtful and damaging event. I'm left wondering how many others fell victim to the same treatment from this doctor, or any other. There's no point doing this job and representing a much needed method of treatment if you're not going to be conscious of how you're treating people in the process.

Dr. Jassey was so kind and compassionate. I got an appointment within 10 minutes, and the whole process so was quick and easy. This is my 3rd renewal, but my first time with this provider. I will definitely be returning next year, and I highly recommend their services. Fast & effective!
