We had a birthday celebration at the Columbus location. The staff was amazing! Teyana was so much fun. We were thrilled with the beautiful transformation done by the hairstylist Lilly. It was a great day!

So many wonderful dolls for that special gift! Dolls of all ethnicities. Small baby dolls, little sister dolls and big sister dolls. Such a fabulous selection of clothing for your doll and your child! There are play accessories and pets! These dolls will last a lifetime and make so many happy memories with your child. The staff is fantastic in helping you make choices. This is a special gift to give....and receive.

Store is nice. The staff that was working yesterday (8/21/22) was not. I couldn’t find the doll my daughter wanted, on the shelf, an employee that was walking around the store overheard me tell my husband I couldn’t find it, so she told me to take the display doll to the cashiers and ask them. The display doll was missing a shoe. As soon as I walked up there, there was 2 cashiers/employees standing there talking and made sure they finished their conversation before acknowledging I was there. When one of them noticed I had a display doll in my hand, she immediately noticed her shoe was missing and said “her shoe is missing. Where is her shoe? Is it on the floor?” I told her I didn’t know, and it wasn’t there when I grabbed the doll. She asked me why I had the display. I told her I couldn’t find the doll on the shelf and another employee told me to take it to the front desk and ask. I told her my daughter wanted this doll. She snapped at me and said “her name is Nanea”. She was so offended that I didn’t know the dolls name. 😂 She grabbed the doll from the shelf and TOLD me to put the display back. She was just flat out rude and unwelcoming. My daughter was also going a little wild in there. She is autistic and was a little over stimulated. She was NOT crying and having tantrums, she was just excited and we got a lot of mean looks from the employees like they’ve never seen little girls super excited in an American girl store 🙄 Not friendly and most likely won’t shop at the location again.

buy their wire brush and use cold water in a little spray bottle (ask at Doll Hair Salon and they will show you for free!)
yes they do
Yes! You can have their hair done and their ears pierced there as well. If you eat there, they can join you.
We you tubed all kids of stuff.... Some of the faces that turn blue wont come off.....we have 2 that are stained blue.....just wore that way.... All of her other dolls have wiped clean with baby wipes
The dolls in store are already created and boxed. To customize , I would order online. It is a very nice store with a cafe (make a reservation or you'll have to wait), the doll salon is fun and the dolls can also have ear piercing done in the store. I hope this helps. I ordered a doll then I took my daughter into the store for lunch and shopping , wonderful afternoon. Occasionally they also have special events that include crafts. I recommend checking the website of your preferred location before going.
Send her to the doll hospital it will cost about $40 and you have to ship doll. Will take about 2-6 weeks.
its about 16 dollars to do it.
All they do in the salon is wet the hair and use a stiff bristle brush to smooth it out. I was a skeptic, but it totally works!
It's still there but I was closed when I was there - 7/30/22 at 5pm
Yep! We were there not even a month ago.
No.. you can schedule a personal shopper to help you. But this is a normal type of store.
At the store
Currently reservations are unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions.
You can go online and make an appointment to get their ears pierced and hair done. They cut, and style the dolls hair. Im not sure about "fixing them up", however. But they will fix their hair.
no
If the hair is damaged, spray the hair wet, not soaking but definitely damp. Use a straightening iron to dry and heat and while hot put into rollers. Be careful to not get the wig cap wet. If the hair is already in good shape just lightly spritzer each section with water and use a straightening iron to heat and roll. Use the LOWEST setting. The hair needs to sit 1 to 2 nights. Smaller curlers for tight ringlets, bigger for waves.
Depends on the doll lol
They don't have backs. You put them in a hole in the dolls ear.
Check website
No
As long as the hair is brushed out and taken care of, it is perfectly ok to style your dolls hair.
American Girl Dolls cost right around $150, and accessories range in price.
They do not; however, I'm sure you could use the Facebook Marketplace and sell them for a descent price.
We we were there in October and they had the doll and a nice selection of her collection.
I would take the doll to the doll hospital at the store
Hilton Columbus at Easton
