We adopted Olave (Charlie) back in May. The warden spent a couple of hours with us as we made sure he would be a good fit for us and with our other dog because the staff was very fond of him. Finalizing the adoption process was very easy. Olave has a wonderful temperament and has been a great addition to our family.

We were there Friday and adopted a dog. I didn't see a shepherd mix, but didn't look at all the dogs. They do have some very nice dogs. Highly recommend you stop by there and take a look. We love our new dog, Bentley.

After adopting a dog, I got a collar for his tags, and a leash that broke before we got home!
What dog?
I was glad to see someone posting a question about how to get help with cost of getting their dog spayed. I wish more would think about this and be willing to ask for help if paying for it is the issue.
