This review is specifically for the Pfizer Fantasia 2022. We attend the Fantasia yearly and highly enjoy it. This year we really disappointed the 3 of the segments were done by the same family/group. They had a nicely trained horse but the rest of their performances were about dressing up and dancing around. It had nothing to do with good horsemanship. Very disappointing.

I did not enjoy myself at the Ohio equine affair. I also caught COVID-19 while there. I was wearing a mask but on the Saturday evening Fantasia show every seat in the arena was filled. Literally all of us were packed in like sardines. I ended up abandoning my seat and stood in the very back up against the wall because it was so crowded and I was seated in between two seats and I kid you not when I say I was being sat on. The amount of people who were allowed to enter is just unethical. I now have to reschedule a surgery that I’m supposed to be having on the 18th because I caught COVID while at this event. Not cool!

Unfortunately the equine arena where most of the major clinics and Fantasia take place is not wheelchair accessible this year as the elevator going to the second level is out of service. Nothing can be viewed from first level due to height of arena wall. When we spoke to an EA representative she indicated that EA was aware the elevator was out of service; but apparently did little to insist that Ohio Expo Center fix it. At a minimum the web site could have indicated the arena was not wheelchair accessible. How unfortunate that handicap attendees have to miss out on all events at the arena including Fantasia. Won't be back.
