Pros: 1) nice selection of brands that you can't find anywhere else! And 2) they are open on the weekends, when most places are not! Cons: 1) staff does not know their products! I wear XXL and the staff had no idea what frames would fit. 2). Salesperson claimed that Vuarnet prescription lenses were no good - dangerous in fact and wanted me to purchase another brand in Israel. After checking with Vuarnet I discovered that they only sell prescription lenses to licensed opticians and Art n Eyes is not a licensed optician. Recommend: if you have an average sized face, and are interested in their brands, they are a great place to try on frames. Just get your prescription filled at a licensed optician.

Went in to get a couple pairs of glasses repaired, wonderful service, beautiful interior, glasses pay the bills but a true artist in practice, highly recommended...cute cat too.

I am super pleased with and *highly* recommend Art & Eyes on Magazine Street for any eyeglass or sunglasses needs. I just brought in two sets of sunglasses (that I didn't purchase there originally) for minor repairs. The owner did the repairs right there in shop in just a matter of minutes, and, I swear, both pairs fit, feel, and look even better now than when I first got them. ... Oh, and when I pulled out my wallet to pay, he said, "No charge. Things like this are a public service." ... Outstanding work. Outstanding service. And even a cute little black cat in store to keep you company in the few minutes you wait, hahaha. I couldn't be happier. 😎
