If you live in East Baton Rouge Parish, it is my understanding that they are required to do the rabies vaccination unless they have proof it has already been done.

It's possible, but whether the vet does or not is a personal choice. There are reasons most won't do it, but just give the vet a call to determine their practices.

If you are fostering for an organization, you will need to check with that organization about their spay policies. Otherwise, your best bet will be to call the office when they are open. Some vets won't spay an already pregnant animal. Some will, depending on how far along they are.

LSU Vet school does a "Spay Day" every so often, but I think that's the closest to your area.
